We believe everyone should be able to enjoy cooking – and our website. We have made an effort to make Cook Like a Chef at Home accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities regulations and the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as far as possible.
What we have done
- A clear, consistent structure with proper headings on every page.
- Text alternatives (alt text) for images.
- Readable fonts, sufficient color contrast and responsive design for mobile, tablet and desktop.
- Keyboard navigation for menus, links and forms.
- An accessibility menu (bottom corner of the screen) that lets you enlarge text, increase contrast, highlight links, pause animations and more.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content – such as older recipes, embedded videos or third-party content (ads, social media) – may not be fully accessible. We keep improving it.
